Thank you for visiting RainbowRetirement.net and learning more about me.
After a 25-year career in the Community Development field focusing on anti-poverty and homeless service programs, I decided to reinvent my career and life when I turned 50. For my "second act," I am focusing my professional efforts on coaching LGBT elders and teaching emerging human services professionals (the two groups who inspire me the most). In addition to my coaching practice, I also teach at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and volunteer extensively in my community.
My husband Jerry and I live in California's Coachella Valley (home to the cities of Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert), America's gay retirement capital. We love the SoCal desert active lifestyle, with year-round outdoor activities and our friendly and supportive LGBT community. Jerry's status as a world-class Ironman triathalon champion keeps him very busy and I enjoy gardening and hiking with our dogs. My mid-life reinvention is turning into the most rewarding period of my life. Let me help you with your life reinvention!
